FEEDBACK
27.01.22-8:30
I started the storyboard for animation because the scenes are the same, so it wasn’t that difficult. I screenshot the scenes from television storyboard and layer out on the animation storyboard.
27.01.22-17:00
I had a few missing scenes, so I had to find images of them
29.01.22-13.00
I worked on the scene's layout for the animation storyboard
1.02.22
I finally finished the layout of scenes on animation and started to do the same on short film storyboard layout or scenes
1.02.22
I started to write the editing, lighting, sound and camera work for some of the scenes and tried to finish off the storyboard for a short film.
2.02.22
I continued with the analysis and finished the layout of the short film storyboard
3.02.22
I finished the analysis for 1 whole storyboard now I need to do the next 2
I tried to draw each element of the screenplay separately for the storyboards to make it feel more genuine. Every area of the drawing had details added to it. It took me a long time to figure out how to draw each scenario. For numerous sequences, I kept the lighting low-key to make the settings appear more mysterious; low lighting increases suspense and makes the scene appear darker, indicating that something is wrong. I've dressed the detective with a long coat to give him the look of a true detective. I made sure that the three storyboards looked similar because they are all telling the same storey. The noises for each storyboard are similar since they should all have a comparable level of suspense.
Commercial advertisements are usually a must in television screenplays, hence the television storyboard incorporates black squares to present them. Commercial breaks were introduced between sequences that left the audience on a cliffhanger or at a point where they would wonder, "How?"
I didn't add any descriptions because it's very simple what needs to be shown. Animations are typically cartoons that are created digitally, thus they require special details. I included a little description for the short film because the team only needs to see the sorts of shots; the rest of the information is already in the script. The screenplay is a lengthy section of the film that provides additional information. A storyboard is simply a visual representation of your ideas for others to see. I included information to some areas of the short film because they are often difficult to understand, and a brief discussion would aid everyone in understanding.
RESUBMISSION
Review
To make the storyboards feel more authentic, I tried to draw each element of the screenplay separately. Details were added to every part of the drawing. Each scenario took a long time for me to figure out how to draw. I kept the lighting low-key for several sequences to make the settings appear more mysterious; low lighting adds suspense and makes the scene darker, implying that something is wrong. I've given the detective a long coat to make him look like a real detective. Because the three storyboards are all telling the same story, I made sure they all looked the same. Each storyboard's noises are similar because they should all have a similar level of suspense.
I didn't include any descriptions because the information that needs to be displayed is straightforward. Because animations are typically cartoons created digitally, they necessitate special attention to detail. Because the team only needs to see the types of shots, I included a brief description for the short film; the rest of the information is already in the script. The screenplay is a long section of the movie that gives you more details. A storyboard is nothing more than a visual representation of your thoughts for others to see. I added information to some parts of the short film because they are frequently difficult to grasp, and a quick discussion would help everyone understand.
For resubmission I added descriptions to the shortfilm storyboard and i wrote more description for the television storyboard.I also changes my review abit and added some more stuff to it.
