A situation comedy, sometimes known as a sitcom, is a radio or television comedy series that features a recurring cast of characters in a series of episodes. Characters are frequently of quite different types who are pushed together by circumstance and share a common location, such as an apartment block or job.

A radio play is not only a play that lacks the visual aspect, but an entirely different and distinct medium of performance. Radio plays are dramatised, primarily auditory performances that are specifically designed to paint an image in the minds of the listeners. They are solely reliant on dialogue, music, and foley, or sound effects.

A radio drama is a fictitious work that is broadcast on the radio. It is totally auditory, with no visual elements. The language, sound effects, and music help the audience grasp what is going on. They shape the story by imagining the scenes and people.
