Narrative overview
After a long day at work, famous writer William Parker arrives home to discover his roommate Walter Kane in a dreadful situation. Unsettling sight, a police investigator arrives on the scene, confusion overflows, and no narcotics or weapons are found. David Adams, the highly cunning Detective, stands upright beside the door. The suspense builds when Parker is arrested, and the body is wrapped in a white sheet. As the area is sealed off, the blaring sirens of the police force grow, and William Parker is carried along the building across to the van.
My parker was released from jail after a week because his roommate died of a heart attack, according to the post-mortem reports. Parker sets out to live a normal life and publish his book. After a few days, Parker invites Detective Adams over for coffee to celebrate the debut of his book. Smith travels about the house while Parker is preparing coffee, not realising this is his death trap, and comes face to face with a toxicology certificate on the wall, which makes him a little puzzled and suspicious, but he doesn't pay too much attention to it. After they've finished their coffee, Parker takes the cups to the kitchen, where a mystery unfolds.
Smith picks up an odd little glass container from which fell out of his pocket with a cloth and takes it to his lab. With the clock ticking and the clock ticking, he takes it to forensics. After 5 hours, he makes a fresh horrific discovery, hurries to Parker's apartment, and realises he is becoming extremely ill. Parker's final words to Davis will be, "Oh poor you, this is how Walter endured as well, now it's time for you." This will leave an open conclusion.
Characters
William parker a very famous writer values his work deeply with a passion. Anything that comes between him and his work ends. In this short film he will be the suspect with a hidden side of guilty of murder, near the end we see this side. Throughout the whole film he will be the person you will feel pity for,as soon as you notice the truth the views of him will change.
Walter Kane is a well-known publisher also William parkers publisher. In the short film we dont really get many scenes of Walter however the ones we do get it its scenes of him as the victim oh someone's revenge
David Adams, a very cunning detective who takes this case very seriously looks for clues, however lacks a bit of intelligence as he gets trapped in the circle of revenge and murder where he becomes the victim.
Film treatment
This short film is a dark and suspenseful thriller with a twist. This film will be set in an apartment, but it will look like an old royal apartment from the Victorian era, to give the impression that rich people live there. All locations will be desolate and quiet in order to reflect the film's silence and suspense. It will begin with dramatic and eerie music and will continue throughout.
Film purpose
This short film serves no purpose other than to entice the viewer. However, some viewers may conclude that not all detectives are as intelligent as David Adams, who falls into the trap himself.
Target audience
Personally, I believe this film is aimed at audiences over the age of 15 because it contains drug information and I believe people over the age of 16 would understand the storyline.
Legal and ethical issues
I believe the reference to th-16 may cause controversy because it is a real scientific substance that can kill in real life. This should not be seen by anyone under the age of 16, as it will teach the children things they should not know at this age.
